Travel Information for Foreign Visitors

All visitors to the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and visa. If your country has a special agreement with Korea, you may be able to stay visa-free in Korea for up to 90 days. Please contact the Korean consulate or embassy in your country for more information.

International visitors typically fly into Incheon International Airport (ICN). The Gwangju Express Bus offers a direct transfer to Gwangju. The air-conditioned limousine buses leave every hour from ICN bus terminal 9c, the trip takes about four hours and costs about 30,000 KRW (check exchange rate).
